Short story
The heroine’s name is Laiba and the hero’s name is Asfand. Laiba is Asfand’s cousin, but for some reason she does not live with their family. Suddenly, due to certain circumstances, she comes to stay at their house.
Laiba is very modest and observes strict purdah (veil). She even maintains distance and covers herself in front of her cousins. This makes Asfand curious and slightly annoyed. He becomes determined and says that he will somehow see her face.
